The WFT Shorty Electra Speed Jig Rod was developed by WFT specifically for deep-sea fishing with WFT ELECTRA electric reels as well as large multiplier and spinning reels. Its strong carbon fiber blank delivers massive lifting power, while the special tip action allows handling of heavy sinkers without sacrificing bite sensitivity—even with hundreds of meters of line deployed.
Built for the toughest boat conditions, the rod features WFT’s strongest LTC double-leg guides, all underwrapped and epoxy-sealed for maximum durability. A one-piece CNC-milled aluminum reel seat ensures absolute stability, and the cross gimbal butt provides secure positioning in fighting belts.
The extra-long foregrip made of durable blue EVA foam offers excellent comfort and control during long fishing sessions.
Thanks to its ultra-short 5-piece SHORTY design, WFT successfully uses four-fold material overlap to further enhance rod action. The result is one of the most powerful and practical deep-sea rods WFT has ever produced—perfect for Norway deep-sea fishing and heavy-duty setups.
