With this shad you get action with no-action! It has no paddle tail, so the shad sinks rapidly into the depth, which is very advantageous in drift and current. Once it reaches the appropriate depth, it moves elegantly and meanders through the water like a sand eel. These are known to be the favourite prey of many marine predators. Slight twitching, slow cranking - called "Einleiern" - and even wind and wave are enough to make the extremely soft material irresistible - and that's what the fish are into.
