Product information "PENN Fierce V 2500 LL Live Liner"
PENN Fierce V Live Liner Reel Series – Saltwater Baitrunner-Style Reels 2500–8000
The PENN Fierce V Live Liner series is designed for anglers who need a dependable, powerful and durable spinning reel for demanding saltwater and coastal fishing. A full metal body and metal sideplate keep the gearing precisely aligned under load and help reduce flex when fighting strong fish.
The Live Liner version adds a secondary free-spool style system to the proven Fierce V platform, making it particularly useful for techniques where fish should be able to take the bait with minimal resistance before the main drag is engaged.
Four sealed stainless-steel ball bearings help protect internal components from corrosion and provide smooth operation. Together with the five-bearing system shown in the model specifications, they support consistent performance. CNC Gear™ technology uses precision-machined gearing for accurate engagement, strength and long-lasting durability.
The proven HT-100™ drag system uses carbon-fibre drag washers to deliver smooth and reliable pressure during the fight. Depending on reel size, maximum drag reaches up to 13.6 kg / 30 lb. With four sizes from 2500 to 8000, the Fierce V Live Liner covers a wide range of applications from lighter inshore fishing to powerful nearshore and saltwater use.
