PENN Fierce V Spinning Reel Series – Saltwater Reels 1000–8000
The PENN Fierce V series is designed for anglers looking for a dependable, powerful and durable spinning reel for saltwater fishing. A full metal body and sideplate keep the gear system precisely aligned under load and help reduce flex when fighting powerful fish. Four sealed stainless-steel ball bearings provide smooth operation while offering additional protection against corrosion in demanding saltwater environments.
CNC Gear™ technology uses precision-machined gearing for accurate engagement, high strength and long-lasting performance. During the fight, the proven HT-100™ drag system with carbon-fibre drag washers provides smooth and reliable pressure. Depending on reel size, maximum drag reaches up to 13.6 kg.
With eight sizes from 1000 to 8000, the Fierce V range covers a wide variety of fishing styles. Smaller reels are ideal for lighter spinning and coastal applications, while the 5000 to 8000 models offer increased line capacity and drag power for demanding inshore and nearshore fishing.
