This system is ideal for fishing with dead bait fish. It consists of a colored lead ball, a single hook size 12/0 and treble size 3/0 or 4/0, with three weights of 300g, 400g and 500g. The dead bait fish is attached to the head with the single hook and the treble is attached to the back flank. The bait fish should be cut from the back to the front third from both sides (flutter bait) and the middle bones should be boiled three times. This will cause the fish to move very naturally and the two fillets will flutter in the current. The main target fish for this system are of course halibut and large cod.
