Westin SALTY Sea Trout Lure

Product information "Westin Salty - Diamond Thief 12g"

Westin SALTY Sea Trout Lure – Long-Cast Coastal Lure for Shallow Water

The Westin SALTY is a proven sea trout lure designed for a wide range of coastal fishing conditions.
Its greatest strength is versatility. The lure can be cast effectively even into strong headwinds, retrieved quickly or slowly and fished confidently in extremely shallow coastal water.

Its fish-like silhouette creates a natural appearance in the water and attracts sea trout throughout the year. Retrieve speed and presentation can easily be adjusted to suit fish activity, season and water temperature. During summer and especially when targeting large sea trout at night, the largest 26 g / 11 cm model is an excellent choice. Its larger profile provides a strong silhouette and imitates bigger baitfish.

When fish become more selective in winter, the smaller versions are ideal. A slow retrieve gives the lure a subtle and natural presentation. Adding occasional pauses and several short twitches can provide the extra trigger needed to provoke a strike. The SALTY is made from ABS plastic and zinc and is fitted with Perma Steel Japan-style hooks. Two split rings positioned in front of the hook help reduce leverage during the fight and can lower the risk of losing fish. Realistic hand-painted finishes and Scandinavian design make the Westin SALTY a highly versatile lure for serious sea trout anglers.
