After the big brother (24.5cm - 400g) has already proven its catchability on halibut, the Flat Matt Jig is now also available in two smaller versions of 8.5cm (28g) and 13cm (85g). And when the Flat Matt flutters past like a panicked flounder, there's no stopping it. The world has never seen such a lure. Whether it's wriggling on the bottom or slowly leeching upwards in midwater - the bites come brutally!
As with most of the Westin lures, Matt is versatile. You can twitch it along the bottom, or reel it in slowly.Alternatively, you can move it faster and get it into the pelagic zone - just make sure you're ready for the strike, as the sight might be too much for some predators to resist. Flat Matt moves so realistically that he is almost indistinguishable from the real thing. The small flatfish he imitates are a hugely important food source in the food chain.
