WFT Cool Sea Special Fjord 4pc – Travel Rod
The WFT COOL SEA SPECIAL FJORD 4pc is built to set new standards in bite detection, sensitivity and lightweight handling for deep sea and fjord fishing. Thanks to WFT NEVER CRACK PLUS HIGH CARBON technology, the blank is considered close to indestructible, offering serious strength reserves without losing finesse.
NEVER CRACK solid tip: sensitivity with lifting power
The tip section is engineered using WFT NEVER CRACK solid construction. Instead of removing a mandrel after curing, a conical metal tube (approx. 1–2 mm) remains inside the tip permanently. Combined with multiple layers of carbon laminate, the result is an extremely strong structure—strong enough (technically) to lift a 10 kg fish into the boat without a net, if someone really wanted to.
LTC SPORT Low Rider guides: rugged, line-friendly, travel-ready
The rod features WFT LTC SPORT Low Rider guides with no ceramic inner rings that could crack or pop out. Excellent heat dissipation helps protect your line, and even if a guide gets slightly bent during transport, you’ll often remain fully fishable. Despite the toughness, LTC SPORT guides are lighter than conventional SiC guides.
True travel format: 4-piece with < 60 cm packed length
As a genuine 4-piece travel rod, the packed length is under 60 cm (approx. 0.59 m), fitting into a small suitcase and—where permitted—even carry-on luggage.
A long hard EVA/foam grip offers comfort and control, while the rubber cross-slot butt cap is practical, safe and boat-friendly. Paired with the WFT SEN SEA reel and WFT KG STRONG multicolor braid, you get a perfectly matched fjord/deep sea setup.
