1. Return of Used Batteries

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries.

You can return used batteries free of charge at a municipal collection point or at retail outlets.

We also take back used batteries in accordance with legal requirements. You can return used batteries to us after prior arrangement or hand them in at a designated collection point.

2. Meaning of Battery Symbols

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin. This symbol indicates that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste.

3. Hazardous Substances

Below the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, you may find the chemical symbol of the respective hazardous substance contained in the battery:

• Pb = Battery contains lead
• Cd = Battery contains cadmium
• Hg = Battery contains mercury

4. Contribution to Environmental Protection

Please help protect the environment by returning used batteries to designated collection points. This allows valuable raw materials to be recycled and harmful substances to be disposed of properly.

5. Battery Usage Notice

Batteries and rechargeable batteries are durable energy storage devices and should be used and stored properly. Please follow the manufacturer's instructions.

6. Manufacturer Registration Notice

According to information provided by our suppliers, the batteries and rechargeable batteries offered by us originate from manufacturers or importers who comply with the legal requirements for placing such products on the market.
