The Shakespeare SALT XT Sea Spin rods are 2 rods that have been especially designed with a progressively fast taper action to maximize the casting distance. As well, the action is perfect for casting and fishing topwaters, softbaits or long jerks. Because of the high grade carbon, the rods have a very slim and lightweight blank. Next to that, they come with SW proof K-type guides are making sure that the line cannot get wrapped around the guides anymore, thereby preventing any breakages. These rods are superb for targeting mackerel, garfish, bass and pollock when fishing off beaches, rock ledges, jetties or even from the boat.
