The Scotty R-5 universal boat rod holder is offered here as a set and includes the rod holder (290), the side deck mount (241) and the railing adapter (242). This means you can attach this rod holder anywhere on the boat. he R-5 Rod Holder has been designed to securely hold your Spincaster, Spinning, Bait Caster, Level Wind and Fly Rods with up to 15 lb test line. The ¼” stainless steel lock bar pivots open to allow a quick effortless release of your rod
R-5 Rod Holder:
- Easy adjustable lock bar tension

Side Deck Mount 241:
- Allows mounting on a flat surface or on the side of a gunnel or transom
- For all Scotty post mount rod holders
- Please Note: This mount is not compatible with our 132 Mounting Rivets, however it is compatible with 133 Well Nut Mounting Kits.
Rail Mount Adapter 242:
- Fits ⅞” & 1” diameter round rail, and 1” square rail
- For all Scotty post mount rod holders
- Works in conjunction with 241 Side / Deck Mount
- Includes stainless steel fasteners
- When using the 242 with a 1″ square rail, substitute ¼ – 20 x 2″ round head SS machine screws (not included))
