PENN Wrath II Boat Squid Spinning Rod 2,13m - 150g

PENN Wrath II Boat Squid Spinning Rod – Sensitive Squid Fishing Rod up to 150 g

The PENN Wrath II Boat Squid Spinning Rod is specifically designed for squid fishing from a boat, combining excellent bite detection with dependable strength and outstanding value for money.

When targeting squid, the correct rod action is essential. Their delicate tentacles require a controlled fighting action to minimise the risk of hooks pulling free during retrieval.

The lightweight and responsive 24T carbon composite blank provides precise lure control and excellent sensitivity, helping anglers detect even subtle bites.

Its comparatively soft tip cushions sudden movements and helps keep hooked squid securely attached during retrieval. At the same time, the rod provides enough backbone to handle lures and weights up to 150 g.

Durable stainless-steel guides with titanium oxide inserts provide reliable line management and excellent resistance to regular boat fishing conditions.

An ergonomic EVA handle offers a secure and comfortable grip, even during longer fishing sessions. A practical hook keeper allows lures to be secured during transport or short breaks.

The three-piece construction makes the Wrath II Boat Squid easy to transport. Depending on the model, transport length is only 71 or 86 cm.

The shorter 1.83 m model offers especially convenient handling for vertical lure presentation from a boat, while the longer 2.13 m version provides additional reach and flexibility.

Combining low weight, a sensitive tip and durable components, the PENN Wrath II Boat Squid is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced anglers looking for reliable squid fishing performance at an attractive price.
