PENN Surfblaster IV Long Cast Spinning Reel – Surfcasting Reel 7000 & 8000
The PENN Surfblaster IV is built for surf anglers who demand long casting performance, reliable control and precise line lay. Its rigid XRC carbon body and rotor keep the gearing accurately aligned under load. A high-quality metal main gear delivers smooth and durable performance when casting heavy leads and fishing demanding beaches and rocky coastlines.
A key feature is the Slow Leveline system. It lays line tightly and evenly across the spool, with up to approximately 50 wraps per oscillation. This clean line lay allows line to leave the long-cast spool smoothly, supporting longer and more efficient casts. The sealed front drag provides smooth and controlled pressure with a maximum drag of 12 kg / 26 lb. A focused 3+1 stainless-steel bearing system is designed to withstand harsh saltwater, sand and spray.
The 7000 model is lighter and ideal for classic surfcasting and repeated casting, while the 8000 offers increased line capacity for maximum distance and heavier rigs. The Surfblaster IV is available in two colour options: Black/Grey and Silver.
