PENN Fathom® II Level Wind – Conventional Reel Series with Optional Line Counter
The PENN Fathom® II Level Wind is designed for anglers who need a strong and dependable conventional reel for regular hard use. Whether bottom fishing, bait fishing or heavy boat fishing, the series combines a rigid construction with convenient line management and powerful drag performance.
The full aluminium frame and sideplate keep the gearing accurately aligned under load and provide reliable power transmission when fighting strong fish.
An integrated Level Wind system distributes line evenly across the spool during retrieval, making the reel easy to operate without manually guiding the line.
PENN's proven HT-100™ carbon drag washers provide smooth and dependable pressure. All sizes offer a maximum drag of 13.6 kg / 30 lb, giving the reels plenty of reserve power for demanding saltwater fishing.
The al
uminium spool features Line Capacity Rings, allowing anglers to quickly monitor the amount of line remaining on the spool. A 4+1 stainless-steel bearing system supports smooth operation.
A quick-access sideplate also makes maintenance and servicing easier.
Depending on size, the Fathom II is available in right- or left-hand configurations. Selected models are also offered as LC versions with an integrated Line Counter, making it easier to return baits to a specific fishing depth.
