PENN Battalion III Boat Casting Rod 2,13m - 12-20lb

PENN Battalion III Boat Casting Rod – Heavy-Duty Norway Boat Rod 2.13 m / 12–50 lb

The PENN Battalion III Boat Casting Rod has been developed for one of the toughest challenges in saltwater fishing: battling powerful fish in the demanding waters of Scandinavia.

Whether targeting large halibut in Norway, fishing natural baits for big cod or fighting hard-pulling coalfish, this boat rod delivers the strength and reliability needed for serious saltwater fishing.

At its core is an extremely strong fibreglass blank designed to provide impressive reserve power. Its fast action delivers direct feedback and controlled bait presentation, while the powerful backbone provides the strength required to maintain pressure on large fish.

The rod is equipped with saltwater-resistant SeaGuide® XEG guides, specifically designed to withstand the demanding conditions encountered during heavy boat fishing.

A Double Lock Graphite DPS reel seat keeps the multiplier reel securely positioned, even when considerable pressure is applied during the fight.

The High-Density X-Wrap Fighter Grip provides a secure, slip-resistant hold, even with wet hands. Its textured design supports comfortable handling and controlled power transmission.

A durable Cross-In Gimbal at the butt allows secure use with a fighting belt, providing additional control when battling powerful saltwater fish.

With a length of 2.13 m, the Battalion III Boat Casting offers an excellent balance of strength, control and practical handling from a boat.

Three different line classes allow anglers to select the right rod for their preferred fishing technique, from the versatile 12–20 lb model to the powerful 30–50 lb version designed for heavy rigs and trophy halibut.
