Note:

Swimsuits are generally not designed to keep an unconscious person afloat. This means that if you fall unconscious into the water, the suit will not automatically turn you onto your back to keep your head above water. For your safety, also use a life jacket with 275N buoyancy.

EN 393 / EN ISO 12402-5: 50N Buoyancy Aid

Provides buoyancy of at least 50 Newtons for an average adult. This level is intended for swimmers who are near shore or have access to rescue equipment. These garments have minimal bulk but are only conditionally suitable for use in disturbed water and cannot keep the wearer afloat for extended periods. They do not provide sufficient buoyancy to protect people who are unable to help themselves. They require active participation from the wearer.

ISO EN 343:2003+A1:2007: Rainwear

This standard standardizes workwear that protects against precipitation, fog, humidity, and other weather conditions. Protective clothing used down to a temperature of -5°C meets the EN 343 standard, which is recognized by various European standards.
