MIKADO Norway Quest 08 - Octopus Circle Hook System
The Norway Quest System is the result of collaboration between the best Norwegian guides and Mikado product development. Over 20 years of fishing experience in Norway has enabled the development of effective and tailor-made systems for specific fish species. They are all manufactured using the highest quality lines, hooks and components.
The system features an octopus that works best when fishing at a considerable distance in waters 30 to 500 metres deep. A spinner blade attracts more fish and triggers additional stimuli. It is particularly suitable for cod, ling, lingcod and pollock. The line has a thickness of 1.00 mm and the hook used is a circle hook. The system is mainly mounted on a sea boom. The circle hook allows the fish to hook itself, so there is no need to set the hook. The leader is baited with fish pieces. In weak currents, a metal sea boom is used, and in strong currents, a sea boom is used as a running rig.
