The FLADEN Octopus Solid – Cod Rig is a particularly effective sea fishing rig for targeting cod, coalfish, and other predatory fish. The rig consists of two high-quality octopus lures, each mounted on a sturdy hook – one octopus on a size 4/0 hook and the other on a large size 8/0 hook. This makes the rig suitable for both smaller lures and heavy natural bait rigs.
Depending on the hook size, a different leader strength is used:
- 0.60 mm for the 4/0 version
- 0.80 mm for the 8/0 version
