This rubber lure consists of the Twitcher jig head, ideal for all sand eel imitations, and the Hogy Paddle in the HDUV version. The jig head is fitted with a tinned 60° VMC High Carbon Jig Head hook with an ultra sharp point. This lure is ideal for open water presentation. The paddle tail provides plenty of pressure and attention, enhanced by the UV plastic and glitter flakes. When presented horizontally, flanking movements at the tip of the rod become really lively movements in the lure. Alternating left and right, the lure flanks the water dancing and creating the seductive play of a lively sand eel. The jig heads are colour matched to the paddle tails. This artificial lure is available in many different colours and weights from 100g to 185g.

On many fishing days in the Atlantic we can use UV-active baits for extra attraction. The Hogy HDUV's are a real wonder here. The UV-active flakes inside the lure make it glow for the fish in the right light conditions. Ultraviolet, a wavelength of light that we humans cannot see, but marine predators can.
