DEGA Deadbait Halibut Rig - Baitball
This baitball is fully assembled with lead head, line and hook. The DEGA Deadbait Halibut Rig is a ready to use trolling and drifting system for fishing with all natural bait. The system is fished 5-10 metres above ground. The natural bait is attached with front single hooks in the fish's upper mouth. The rear treble hook is attached along the natural bait to the fish's tail with a treble hook. The system can be used passively as well as actively guided up and not pilled.
Equipment: The deadbait halibut rig has a painted lead head, sturdy snap rings, a 12/0 single hook and a 3/0 treble. In addition, a sturdy 1.2 mm hard mono leader has been used. The length of the system is approx. 25 cm. Weights of 300g, 400g and 500g are available.
