The DAIWA SEALINE X'TREME INTERLINE 2.35 m has been developed for demanding sea anglers who require direct lure control, strong reserve power and smooth fighting characteristics.

Thanks to the Interline design, the fishing line runs through the inside of the rod blank. This provides very even load distribution across the rod while largely eliminating external guides. For boat fishing, this creates a clean and practical setup combined with direct power transmission.

The range is available in two different power classes, covering a broad spectrum of saltwater fishing applications.

The 15–30 lb model is particularly well suited to lighter boat fishing for coalfish, cod and halibut. Its balanced action cushions fast runs effectively and helps reduce the risk of hook pulls during the fight.

The more powerful 30–50 lb version is designed for heavy sea fishing with both artificial and natural baits. It is ideal for targeting halibut, cod, ling and wolffish. Despite its strong backbone, the sensitive tip still provides excellent bite detection.

When fighting large fish, the powerful lower section provides substantial reserve strength. Even very heavy and hard-fighting sea fish can be controlled with confidence.

Another practical feature is the screw-in tip guide. If damaged, the tip guide can be replaced quickly without the need for complicated repair work.

With its Medium Fast action, the SEALINE X'TREME INTERLINE combines sensitive bite detection with impressive power in the lower blank section. This makes it an excellent choice for serious boat anglers, especially in Norway and other demanding saltwater environments.
